Mosheh Oinounou (Wah-Noo-Noo) is an Emmy, Murrow and Webby Award-winning Executive Producer who brings a veteran perspective to TV and digital production and content. He is the president of both Mo Digital and Mo News.

Throughout his career, he has led teams at major media companies dedicated to building products and developing new approaches to storytelling for all platforms. He founded Mo Digital in NYC in 2019 as a consulting firm that provides comprehensive solutions for streaming video and audio production, digital content strategy, and brand messaging/earned media. He works with a number of leading businesses and agencies in the financial services, technology and media sectors developing content for mobile, social media and streaming platforms. 

In 2020, he launched Mo News—devoted to curating verified and balanced news. Mosheh has quickly built a highly engaged following of nearly 300,000 followers on his @mosheh Instagram page, along with a growing base of 1,500+ paid subscribers. The account has been featured by Variety Magazine and Axios. In 2022, he launched the Mo News Newsletter on Bulletin with deep-dives on the news and issues facing the world as well as the Mo News Podcast, which premiered in the top 10 for all News Podcasts and Top 40 for all podcasts in all categories on the Apple Charts.

Previously, Mosheh was the youngest-ever executive producer of the “CBS Evening News” in 2018 and 2019, where he led more than 150 personnel and coverage of everything from the war on ISIS to natural disasters, mass shootings and presidential interviews.

In that role, he reorganized and built up the show’s operation to more quickly turnaround both breaking news and premium, custom storytelling on all platforms including podcasts and radio. He also enhanced the broadcast with more field productions & developed an immersive long-form storytelling style—reviving the “Eye on America” franchise, an award-winning investigative series. The broadcast received a Murrow and was nominated for four Emmy Awards under his leadership. 

Prior to that, Mosheh made digital history at the network, overseeing the launch of CBSN, the first- of-its-kind 24/7 live news network in 2014 for mobile and streaming TV platforms. As the channel’s first executive producer, he led the hiring and build-out of the editorial and production operation—growing to a 100+ person team—producing a linear broadcast, original series and hundreds of daily VOD assets. Mosheh helped to build additional 24/7 streaming networks devoted to sports, entertainment and several local news operations on more than a dozen platforms including Roku, Apple TV, Amazon Fire and Samsung. 

He later oversaw new programming & development, including as creator and showrunner for "CBSN: On Assignment," a long form, primetime, news magazine series which was picked up on the CBS network in 2017. As part of that series, he executive produced a special on the 40th anniversary of the “Son of Sam” murders--including an exclusive prison interview with serial killer David Berkowitz. He originally joined CBS News in 2011 as part of the leadership team that launched CBS This Morning. During his career, he has produced interviews with five American presidents and more than two dozen world leaders and is the winner of an Emmy Award for Outstanding Investigative Journalism.

From 2009-2011 he led international coverage for Bloomberg Television managing teams in Tokyo, Hong Kong and London and led coverage on the ground at the 2011 Fukushima nuclear disaster, the 2010 Deepwater Horizon oil spill and several major global economic summits. He began his career at Fox News—notably serving as the network’s ‘embed’ campaign reporter traveling full time with the McCain presidential campaign in 2008.

A native of the Chicago area, he has an M.A. in security policy studies and B.A. in political communication from The George Washington University.
